GROWTH NOTES / CLIENT OUTREACH
Before you send
the next message.
Three questions to make your outreach more specific.
Who is the right audience for this offer?
Describe a group of businesses with a shared reason to need your work. Consider the kind of projects they commission, the people involved in choosing suppliers, and whether your portfolio fits their needs. A specific audience gives you a clearer basis for research, relevant examples, and a useful first conversation.
What problem can your work help them solve?
Translate your capabilities into a practical reason to have a conversation. A list of services may describe what you make, but a prospect also needs to understand when your team is useful. Connect your specialty to a project situation without assuming you know the details of a business you have not spoken with.
What evidence can you show?
Choose a relevant project, a documented result, or a specific example of your process that supports your message. Explain your role accurately and obtain permission for any confidential client information. If you do not have a measured result, describe the work itself rather than inventing a performance claim to strengthen the pitch.
